Skinfood launched a new Omija Whitening Line, which sounds very interesting!

Omija Whitening Line is derived from Omija berries of Mungyeong, South Korea. It hydrates and nourishes your skin better than other existing whitening skincare line.

I think the toner is the most interesting product in this range. It is the world's first toner that comes with a separate tea bag for infusion. So after opening the toner, 'cold-brew' the omija tea bag in the toner! I am very tempted to try this out.

Skinfood also has a few new masks! I am lemming for the Ginseng mask and the acai berry mask. Acai berry, which is the key ingredient in Kiehl's recently launched acai berry range is all the rage now and I think I will be stopping by a Skinfood outlet soon.

Review: Skinfood Kiwi Yogurt Mask Wash Off

I bought this Skinfood Kiwi Yogurt Mask while on holiday in Malaysia as I heard that it is cheaper to buy Skinfood products there compared to Singapore. Indeed, it was cheaper and so I bought this mask to try out.

Exfoliating yogurt wash off facial pack with kiwi extract. Rich with vitamin and moisture controls oiliness and tightens pores.

I have finally finished using this Skinfood Kiwi Yogurt Mask after a while and thought I'd do a short review here. The reason why I am only doing a short review is because there really isn't much to say about this mask as there are no effects at all even if I use it or not.

The mask texture is creamy and yogurt like with green beads that disintegrate when massaged into the skin. I am not sure whether the green beads actually contain beneficial ingredients or are just coloured beads that make the mask look more 'kiwi-like'. I would have preferred a longer description of what the product is so I can be more sure.

As with my other wash off masks, I use this while in the bath for convenience sake as it would be easier to wash off. However, there are no effects on my skin. The mask does not moisturise my skin nor does it help control oiliness. There is also no effects on my pores.

I have been using this mask so as not to waste money since I have already purchased it. I think that this is a mask that can be skipped as there are better masks out there and not worth the price. Perhaps the only good thing is that it did not cause me any breakouts.

Skinfood Snow Tea Mask Sheet Review

I tried the Skinfood snow tea mask sheet today, $5 for one. And my review is.. i don't like it. A few seconds after putting it on, my eyes started feeling uncomfortable, with a stinging sensation. So i checked the ingredients list, alcohol was the 4th ingredient. Well, the SA said alcohol is present as a preservative but it is too high a content in this mask sheet. Also, the mask sheet is in such an odd shape. the cutting isn't good and the area around the nose is cut in a strange manner that the mask doesnt cover nicely, unlike the neutrogena mask. One more point, the essence is sticky, which, according to niu er lao shi, means that the essense isn't very pure and they added chemical stuff in to make the essence thicker, cos things like hyaluronic acid is watery. The mask dries out v fast also. Don't think i will repurchase, especially since the effects aren't very obvious either.. Results: my face isn't brightened as it claims (I exfoliated before so no reason why it shouldn't work) , not very moisturised, just very sticky. VERY STICKY. strange.
